Tā Mātou (About Us)
Since 1997, Te Manu Toroa (the albatross which glides the ocean), has been dedicated to providing comprehensive, integrated healthcare for Māori across the Western Bay of Plenty.

We know that every whānau is unique, with its own journey, needs, and aspirations. For us, it’s about talking, listening and supporting, without judgement.

We operate from two clinics, Tauranga Moana City GP Clinic and Te Akau Hauora GP Clinic, providing care that embraces your whole whānau.

Te Manu Toroa is a member of Ngā Mataapuna Oranga PHO which is a Whānau Ora Collective promoting whanau health and wellbeing in the Tauranga Moana.
