This February, we’re offering walk-in cervical smears for our enrolled wāhine — no appointment needed!

See our nēhi (nurse) or tākuta (doctor) for your smear and any kōrero or tautoko you need.

PLUS! Every wāhine who attends for a cervical smear in February will receive a goodie bag and can enter the draw to win 1 of three $100 Pak’n Save vouchers!

Why are cervical smears so important? 

Regular cervical screening is one of the best ways to catch or prevent cervical cancer early.

How do I book a cervical smear?

Just walk in or call 0800 114 900. No appointment needed. 

What does a smear appointment usually look like? 

The 30-minute appointment includes an HPV swab. Some wāhine can self-swab. A follow-up is needed if results are negative.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

• Open to enrolled patients of Tauranga Moana City GP Clinic or Te Akau Hauora GP Clinic.
• Participants must be wāhine aged 18 years or older.
• Only wāhine who attend a cervical smear appointment with a nēhi (nurse) or tākuta (doctor) between 2 February and 27 February 2026 are eligible.
• One entry per person.

How to Enter:

• Book or drop in for a cervical smear at one of our clinics during the campaign period.
• Eligible wāhine will receive a goodie bag and can enter the draw to win 1 of three $100 Pak’n Save vouchers.

Prize Draw:

• Winners will be selected randomly and contacted beginning of March 2026.
• Prize: One of three $100 Pak’n Save vouchers (non-transferable, not redeemable for cash).

• By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
• Winners must present valid photo ID when claiming their prize.
• If a third party claims the prize on behalf of the winner, they must provide:

•Authorisation letter from the winner
• Photo ID of both the winner and the third party
