Diabetes concerns the whole whānau — and this November, we’re coming together at Merivale Community Centre to kōrero, learn, and tautoko one another.
This free whānau-focused event is for everyone—whether you live with mate huka (diabetes) yourself, support a whānau member, or just want to learn more.

What to expect:
- Kōrero with our Diabetes Specialist Nurse — ask about symptoms, risks, and how to manage mate huka well or ask your pātai
- Mātauranga on diabetes, medications, and managing your hauora with our Clinical Pharmacist
- Tautoko for you and your whānau — wellbeing and mental health support
- Healthy recipes, kai tips & lifestyle guidance to help you thrive
- Learn more about the importance of exercise for weight management and diabetes control
